Duda vs Wix (2026): The Agency Platform Against Wix and Wix Studio
Duda vs Wix has two answers, because it is really two questions. If you are building one site for yourself, take Wix: it wins our five rounds 8.3 to 7.4 and Duda wins none of them outright. If you build sites for clients, the opponent is Wix Studio, and the deciding number is the size of your book. At one site the two cost the same $228 a year; at ten sites Duda's Agency plan costs $1,632 against $2,280 for Wix Studio's cheapest plan.
So a solo owner should skip Duda, which is priced and built for resellers. An agency with a handful of clients that need payments and bookings should look hard at Wix Studio. An agency with ten or more clients, or one that sells under its own brand, belongs in Duda's corner. Every price here comes from the vendors' US pricing pages, read on 10 October 2026, on yearly billing and before tax.
Agencies Against Solo Owners
Duda's pricing page reads like a reseller's price list. Its plans are counted in published projects, team seats and client accounts rather than storage. Wix is the opposite: a consumer platform with an agency product, Wix Studio, sold beside it. The two corners only look comparable until you ask who is paying the bill and how many sites it covers.
That is why our card and our advice can disagree without contradicting each other. The five rounds score the experience of building and running a site. They do not score a client-management dashboard or a rebranded login page, and those are the two features that decide this bout for anyone billing clients.
Classic Editor or Studio: Which One Is in the Ring?
The classic Wix Editor is the free-form canvas most small businesses meet first, with plans from Light at $17 a month to Business Elite at $159. Wix Studio is a separate responsive editor for professionals, with its own plans: Basic at $19 a month, Standard at $27, Plus at $34 and Elite at $159. Basic cannot take payments; Standard is the first Studio plan that can.
Wix's own help centre says a site cannot move between the Wix Editor and Wix Studio. Choose the editor per client and treat the choice as permanent. For agency work, Studio is the Wix that belongs in this ring, and it is the comparison the older Duda-vs-Wix pages never make.
What a Client Book Costs at 1, 10 and 25 Sites
Duda bills per account and adds sites on top. Basic is $19 a month on yearly billing with one published site; Team is $29 with one site and three team seats; Agency is $52 with four sites and six seats; White Label is $149 with four sites and the rebranding. Each site beyond the included ones costs $168 a year on Team and above, or $171 on Basic. Annual plans are charged up front.
Wix Studio bills per site. Every client site carries its own plan, so ten clients on Basic cost ten times $228, or $2,280 a year, and ten on Standard cost $3,240. Duda Agency covers ten sites for $1,632, which is four included sites plus six extras, and White Label covers the same ten for $2,796. At 25 sites the gap widens: $4,152 on Duda Agency against $5,700 on Studio Basic and $8,100 on Studio Standard. Even Duda White Label, at $5,316 for 25 sites, comes in under Studio Basic.
One adjustment keeps this honest. Duda prices eCommerce and Bookings separately, and its pricing page sends you to a separate page for those rates, which we have not priced here. If most of your clients sell online, compare Duda plus its store pricing against Wix Studio Standard, which takes payments in the plan.
| Plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Published sites included |

| Duda White Label | $149/mo | $199/mo | 4 |
| Wix Studio Basic | $19/mo | Not shown on the plans page | 1 per plan |
| Wix Studio Standard | $27/mo | Not shown on the plans page | 1 per plan |

White Label and Client Billing
White label is Duda's headline feature. Its plan comparison lists white-label client access, white-label analytics and a custom platform and email domain, and the White Label plan is the one sold on them. Below it, Team and Agency still give clients their own accounts with unlimited seats, so a client can edit content without seeing the rest of your book.
Wix Studio gives agencies a professional workspace, but the client still lives inside a Wix-branded product, on a Wix plan. If your business model is reselling websites as your own service, Duda's White Label plan is built for exactly that. If your model is building a site and handing it over, the branding question matters less than the bill.
The Editor: Duda's Two Speeds Against Wix Studio
Duda's editor works on a grid of reusable sections, with a Flex mode for pixel-level layout and direct CSS access, so it runs simple for content editors and deep for designers. Wix Studio is a responsive editor built to fix the classic Wix complaint, mobile layouts that need hand repair. Design finishes level on our card at 8.0, and so does power at 8.5.
Ease is where Wix pulls away, 9.0 to 6.0. Duda's page editor is not the problem; the surrounding platform is. Site management, team roles, white-label settings and client permissions are built like enterprise software, and they take time to learn. That cost falls once on an agency and never on its clients, which is the right way round.
Selling Online
Wix sells from its Core plan at $29 a month without a Wix transaction fee, and Wix Studio sells from Standard at $27. Duda routes eCommerce and Bookings to separate pricing, which our scoring notes have long flagged as the platform's most common hidden cost. For a store-heavy client list, that tilts value back toward Wix, which is part of why Wix takes the value round 7.5 to 7.0.
Export and Portability
Duda lists code export in its plan comparison, and our earlier checks found it on the Agency tier and above, as a downloadable archive. That is a genuine exit, even if reviewers report friction moving a Duda site elsewhere. Wix offers essentially no export at all, and its two editors do not exchange sites. For an agency that may hand a client their site one day, this round matters more than the card suggests.
Support by Plan
Duda's support depends on the plan: email on Basic and Team; email, chat and screen share on Agency and White Label; and 24/7 VIP support only on custom contracts. Classic Wix runs 24/7 phone callback and chat, and Wix Studio lists priority support on its Plus and Elite plans. Support goes to Wix, 8.5 to 7.5.
Edge Cases
- Two or three client sites, no resale branding: Duda Basic plus extra sites runs $399 a year for two against $456 on Studio Basic, close enough that the editor your team prefers should decide.
- Clients who all need bookings: price Duda's separate Bookings rates before assuming Duda is cheaper.
- A freelancer who wants AI search tracking: Duda sells an AI Visibility add-on from $19 a month, an extra line on the bill.
- Monthly billing: Duda Agency costs $69 a month billed monthly, against $52 on yearly billing.
Who Should Sign With Whom
Wix wins the card, 8.3 to 7.4, and for an owner building their own site that is the answer: Wix is easier, better supported and sells out of the box. For agencies, the bill decides it. Wix Studio matches Duda at one site and suits small books whose clients need payments. From ten sites up, or the moment you want clients to see your brand instead of a platform's, Duda is the stronger contract. Our full Duda verdict is in the Duda review, and the scoring method is on how matchups are scored, and every other bout sits on the full fight card.
